01 · Diversity, equity & inclusion
Everyone should be able to feel that they belong here.
Vibe is built to widen the doorway into movement, not make people prove they deserve to enter it. We are committed to creating spaces where people are respected, represented and able to participate without pressure to hide who they are.
What this means in practice
- We welcome people across ages, body types, abilities, backgrounds, identities, cultures and levels of dance or fitness experience.
- We use choice, adaptation and body-neutral language rather than shame, comparison or appearance-based goals.
- We aim to make our classes, digital content and communication accessible, recognising that neurodivergent, disabled and anxious participants may need different routes into participation.
- We will challenge discrimination, harassment, bullying and exclusion within Vibe spaces and take concerns seriously when they are raised.
- We will keep listening, learning and improving rather than treating inclusion as a box that can ever be permanently ticked.
02 · Environmental sustainability
A healthier community should not come at the planet’s expense.
Vibe is a growing organisation, and we want sustainability to grow with us. We will make practical environmental choices wherever they are proportionate and genuinely useful, while being transparent about the areas we still need to improve.
What this means in practice
- We favour digital booking, communication and resources where this reduces unnecessary printing and waste.
- When we do print, buy equipment or source merchandise, we will consider durability, reuse, responsible sourcing and unnecessary packaging.
- We will avoid disposable materials where sensible reusable alternatives are available.
- We will make thoughtful choices around venues, suppliers, travel and events, balancing environmental impact with accessibility and affordability for our community.
- As Vibe grows, we will review our environmental impact and look for realistic ways to reduce waste, consumption and avoidable emissions.
04 · Work-life balance
Wellbeing cannot be something we sell while ignoring it ourselves.
Vibe believes good work should be sustainable for the people doing it. We want to build a culture where rest, boundaries, flexibility and real life are treated as part of healthy working, not as obstacles to productivity.
What this means in practice
- We will aim for realistic workloads and timelines rather than celebrating unnecessary overwork.
- We support flexibility where roles and responsibilities allow it, recognising that people work, think and manage energy differently.
- We will respect time away from work and avoid creating an expectation of constant availability.
- We will encourage honest conversations about capacity, support needs and reasonable adjustments without treating them as personal failings.
- We will review the way we work as the organisation grows so that protecting wellbeing remains part of the system, not dependent on individual willpower.
A commitment is only useful if behaviour follows it.
We will not claim perfection. We will try to be transparent about where we are, correct things when we get them wrong and keep improving these commitments as Vibe develops. If your experience does not match what we say here, we want to know.
03 · Social impact
Success means more than the number of people in the room.
Vibe exists to help people move more, feel more confident and become more connected. We want our growth to create genuine value for the communities around us, particularly for people who have felt excluded from conventional fitness spaces.
